I’m pretty proud of this piece, and it took quite a while to find all the components.

This necklace is made from superior quality black leather cord (but can be made with faux leather or waxed cotton if requested).
The charms are as follows:

A genuine Qing dynasty coin, antiqued with Gilder’s paste to bring out the patina that was already there.
A genuine Thai buddhist clay amulet, encased in a metal and plastic case that I’ve hand weathered.
A traveling buddha bead in cinnabar red, that has been sanded and textured, then painted to bring out the details with Gilder’s paste.
An aluminum tag that has brass rivet accents, and a lotus flower stamped in the center.

This necklace was a labor of love (as in, I love it so much I’m making one for myself!) and a limited number of these will be made. In addition, each one will be unique, as no two amulets, coins, or tags will be identical to the last!
